7 Ways to Drive Laser-Targeted Traffic
 by: Keith Gloster

Send me One Million FREE Guaranteed Visitors

An affiliate marketer may have all the things needed for him to be able to succeed in a business such as affiliate marketing. He may have the necessary drive, diligence and perseverance to be able to understand how the system works. He may have all the tools necessary in maintaining the business, including a really unique and interesting website which could earn him a fortune if only the whole world could see it. However, all these would prove useless if he does not know how to drive traffic to his website. His business would sink into oblivion together with all the sales, fortune and dreams that he might have realized if he only knew how to do this particular task.

Getting people who matter to see one’s website is a difficult undertaking if he tries to consider the fact that there are rivals everywhere waiting to pin him down. The immensity of the internet as well as the affiliate marketing world has given birth to the fierce competition between affiliate marketers, each of whom has his own great product to offer. With all the websites piling on top of each other, how would one be able to stand out? The seven best ways to drive laser-targeted traffic to one’s own website would help those who are bent on sticking it out with this business wherever it is bound to take them.

The first step in driving traffic to one’s website is by relying on search engines and what they can do for the affiliate marketer concerned. Because they are popular for driving free targeted traffic, they should not be ignored by all means. Having top search engine rankings is vital in building popularity links, and the use of the right keywords is important in attaining this goal. Once a website is on top of the list, it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to see it for himself.

The second way in driving traffic to one’s website is by contacting other webmasters for a possible link exchange partnership. Locating websites that are related to one’s own website is the primary task. Once there, he should be able to establish communication by personalizing everything as much as possible. It is then possible to make reciprocal link exchanges between webmasters whichever way the affiliate marketer prefers.

The third way is through writing one’s own articles. This is an effective way in promoting a website, because good content that is appreciated by readers will lead them to visit the writer’s very own website out of sheer interest.

The fourth way is through joint venture marketing. This is one of the most effective ways of promoting a product or a service. Having a partner through ad swap or link exchange is beneficial to both parties as it allows them to reach a wide customer base in a short amount of time.

The fifth is through joining affiliate programs. Having affiliates to do the work means allowing them to bring tons of traffic to a website. Skyrocketing sales would be realized as a result, and both the affiliate and the website owner will benefit from the situation.

The sixth is by having a list of subscribers that one can refer to every so often, because they are those which would prove to be valuable assets for the marketer concerned. The use of autoresponders and personalized newsletters is one way of keeping track of them all, and holding on to them by letting them know about new products and services is an essential task that should be done by the affiliate marketer concerned.

The seventh is by knowing one’s market through and through. It is important for traffic to be targeted to those who might have a special interest in the theme or topic of one’s website. This way, a solid customer base is going to be created. Once a potential customer shows an interest in a particular website by paying it a visit, one must not waste time in trying to show him that his effort is worth it.

Traffic generating strategies are important in trying to make one’s affiliate marketing career inch forward. It is always advantageous to plan one’s moves in any business that he might undertake. This is particularly so in affiliate marketing. If one knows how to get people to see what he has to offer, then he is on the right track.

How I Get Hundreds Of Daily Website Visitors For Free
Copyright © 2005 Louis Allport

Know about "Viral eBooks"?

It's not a new concept I'll admit, but it works like absolute gangbusters.  In fact, over the past three years it has personally been responsible for bringing me hundreds of thousands of visitors to just one of my websites.  AND - 100% for free.

Getting traffic with Viral eBooks is a "free traffic tactic", which means you're not paying for advertising.  But, because you're not paying for this exposure, you need to instead create content that people WANT to pass on.

This takes effort, but if you do it right, it can pay you back hugely.  Let's go through it:

Okay - for starters you can create Viral eBooks in two formats:

EXE (executable) format - which means it only works on PC's.  This type of eBook looks like a website packaged together.

These types of eBooks look great, and all someone has to do to view it is download and double-click it.  But, as mentioned it does only work on PC's, and generally the software to create these types of eBooks isn't free, although it is very affordable.  (I personally use the software from eBookCompiler.com which as I write this retails for around $30.)

Alternatively - you can create and distribute Viral eBooks in the hugely popular PDF format. The advantage of PDF is that everyone can read them successfully whether they're viewing your eBook on PC, Mac or "other".

To read PDF successfully, the person who downloaded the eBook needs to have the free Adobe Reader installed on their computer.  Most people do, and if they don’t it's a quick download from Adobe.com, so this isn't an issue.

Although PDF’s can be more widely read that EXE style eBooks, they’re not quite as flexible.  With EXE's for example you can actually embed video and audio into the eBook.  This isn't possible with PDF.  With PDF you would need to instead include a link to where the reader can view or download the audio/video online.

So with this in mind, you need to decide what's most important to you and make your choice accordingly for eBook format.  I personally don't recommended you create your eBook in both formats, since that just complicates the distribution process in my experience.  Stick with one or the other.

For creating Viral PDF's - there's a wide array of software that allows you to create PDF's.  Some of this software is free, some mind-bogglingly expensive.  To view many available options, simply search Download.com or Tucows.com.

For creating Viral PDF's, I personally use software that I had specially created.  And the advantage of my software is that it allows you to easily create fully *brandable* PDF's.  This means that people can customize your PDF with their own affiliate or website details.

The benefit of this feature is that it makes it much more likely the PDF will spread far and wide for you as it gives the reader a strong incentive to pass the PDF on as they can now directly profit from it's distribution.

You can get this PDF branding software for free at BrandPDF.com

So those are your two options for eBook formats.  Now - how do you make it truly viral?

Well, first of all, decide what kind of visitors you want to your website, and create an eBook on a subject that would interest those people.

Your eBook has to be truly useful, interesting, and credible.  Don't create a poor quality eBook since no one will read it, which means of course that no one will visit your site.

You can even include multi-media links within your eBook to related audio and video if you like, making your product even more interesting and unique.  These download links lead back to your site of course, which naturally gets you more visitors.

If you're not familiar with a subject matter that would allow you to reach your target audience, you could perhaps have an eBook ghostwritten.  There's plenty of Ghostwriters who would bid on a project you list for free at eLance.com.

(Ghostwriters are professional writers who create unique content for you on a subject of your choice, and give you all the rights to it, so you can use it as you choose.  Many ghostwriters offer their services very affordably.)

Alternatively - an information-rich interview with an expert in the field could be a good solution.  The person you interview gets free advertising that way too of course, so they may well be happy to spend the time.

Such an interview can be done either by email or by phone.  The audio of a phone interview would be edited (to remove any mistakes) and then transcribed.  Both the audio and transcript can then be offered in the eBook.

In my personal experience, longer interviews (more than just a few simple questions) don't work well by email since it can take the person being interviewed quite a lot of typing, and I find the momentum of the process quickly fades this way with every question asked, which can lead to significant delays.

For this reason, and to keep things quick and easy for the person being interviewed, I have generally gone with phone interviews in the past - one hour of interview generally creates from around 7,000 to 10,000 words of content.

Then after finalizing the recording and tidying the transcript, pass the product by the interviewee before publication to confirm their approval.

And let me stress again - your eBook must be high quality and credible.  The higher the quality the further it will spread.

If it's free to give away, maybe aim for an eBook that could sell for $20 comfortably - IF - it was being sold.

Use this as a rough guide to the kind of value you want to aim for with your eBook.  The more value you offer in a subject your target market is interested in, the more people will pay attention to it.  It's as simple as that.

So finally - how do you make the eBook as viral as possible?

One important point already mentioned more than once is to make the eBook very high quality.

The next important point also touched on is that it is very good to give people strong incentives to pass the eBook on, rather than simply hoping they do.  To do this, give them benefits for passing it on.  Particularly - by making it brandable so that the person passing it on can add their affiliate links, or even their "home page" address to it.  For example:

"This eBook is brought to you by JoeBloggs.com"

If it's a free to sell eBook (which means: if you have a copy of the eBook, you have the automatic right to sell it yourself.  In a sense these are resale rights that automatically roll from one eBook owner to the next) - have a ready-made and professional website and sales page linked to from within the eBook, so that it's easy for people to start selling it.

And if the offer, sales copy, website and product are all high quality, the eBook should sell well for everyone who resells it, which means it quickly spreads far and wide for you.

If you give everyone who gets a copy of the eBook a way to profit it will just keep on spreading for years to come.  This has been my experience.  Search for my name in Google to see this first hand.

And pay attention to the rights you give the eBook - loose rights for an eBook will help it spread far and wide quickly.  Specify the rights within the first page or two of the eBook so there's no confusion.  And don't just say "Master Rights".  Explain the rights in an easy to understand way.

And let me also say that the more eBooks you create, the larger the "Viral Net" you'll have out there working for you to bring you visitors every single day.

I've personally been creating viral eBooks for around three years as I write this, and have over thirty eBooks out there on thousands upon thousands of web sites.  AND - on tens of thousands (even hundreds of thousands) of personal computers around the world.  And all these eBooks are working automatically every day to bring traffic back to my site.

Starting your own Viral eBook library can do the same for you.

How To Generate Traffic without spending a single cent   by Eugenijus Sakalauskas

Are you looking for some inside information on traffic? Here's an up-to-date report from traffic experts who should know.

Putting up a company would of course require a lot of things, to get straight to the point, you need a capital. To make money requires money as well. But of course, with the versatility the internet offers, there are many ways you could find that could help optimize the potential of your site or business in generating traffic.

While there are ways to jumpstart your traffic flows, many sites don't have the resources that others have to generate more traffic for your site. Well, you don't have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

How sweet it is to have more traffic for your site without spending a single cent. Now it's a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate traffic using only free methods. Because it is possible, you don't need to speed a single cent, it may take time, to say honestly, I'm not going to beat around the bush with you. You get better chances by paying for your advertisements, but at least you get a fighting chance with some of these free methods I'm about to tell you.

Take advantage of online forums and online communities. The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss about lots of things about the niche that you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.

With online communities and forums you can build a reputation for your company. Show them what you are made of and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject, with that you can build a reputation and build trust with the people in your expertise and knowledge.

You can also make use of newsletters. Provide people with a catalog of your products and interesting and entertaining articles. If you make it really interesting and entertaining, more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who signs up for your newsletter, the more people there will be that will go to your site increasing your traffic.

Another great idea is trading links with other sites. You don't have to spend a cent. All you have to do is reach an agreement with another webmaster. With exchanging links, the efforts both sites do will benefit both sites. Every traffic that goes to the site could potentially click on the link of your site and visit your site as well. This works well especially when both sites feature the same niche.

Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your product. Try writing articles that will provide tips and guides to other aficionados. Writing articles that provide good service and knowledge to other people would provide the necessary mileage your traffic flow needs.

Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles. When people find interest in your articles they have a good chance of following the track by finding out where the article originated. Include a link or a brief description of your company with the article and there's a great probability that they will go to your site.

Write good content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that a content should be done by a professional content writer. You could do your on but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational. It should provide certain requirements as well as great quality. Generally, internet users use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching in aiding their search results. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs.

All of these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort and extended man hours. Learn all you can about the methods depicted here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that come with it.

That's the latest from the traffic authorities. Once you're familiar with these ideas, you'll be ready to move to the next level.

7 Powerful Ways To Generate Unstoppable Traffic

By Aurelius Tjin

Generating traffic to your site means more chances of generating sales, leads and interests.  There are multiple ways of driving traffic to your site.  Some work and some don't.

Before I reveal to you the 7 ways to generate traffic to your site, you need to know the fundamentals of generating traffic to your website first.

Basically, there are 3 types of traffic routes you can use.

The first is to buy traffic
Buying traffic includes pay-per-click such as Google Adwords, Overture & Miva.  You can obviously place your ad on other peoples newsletters such as the Unstoppable Marketing newsletter for a small price between $5-$20 depending on where it’s located.

The second way is to D.I.Y (Do It Yourself).
This involves writing up your own articles and posting them to article directories such as ezinearticles.com & articlecity.com, setting up your own affiliate program and more.

The third fundamental is by borrowing traffic.
There’s no better way than to leverage your efforts with somebody else’s traffic.  You can place your ad on someone else’s ezine/newsletter that’s related to your business.

Those are the 3 fundamentals you should know before going ahead.

Now let’s look at the 7 ways to generate unstoppable traffic 24/7.

  1. Get involved with the community – Post on hyper-active forums & boards that relate to your market  Why do this? Because your signature is added to all your posts and readers can click on the link which directs them to your site.  Basically, we want to make the most out of signature files.  Not only on forums & boards but to your emails as well.  Here’s an example of a signature file I use:

Here for your success,
Aurelius Tjin

Some popular Internet marketing forums:

  1. Pay for  instant traffic using Google Adwords(r).
Adwords(r) are those little classified ads that you see on the right hand site when you search for something.  You only pay if someone clicks on your ad.
Your ad will appear on Google's search in about 10-15 minutes time.  It’s the fastest way you can generate targeted leads.  You could also try Overture.com and Miva.com.   But I'd highly recommend using Adwords - because of numerous reasons.  There's enough information about Google Adwords out there.

  2. Create your own blog
Get a free blog at blogger.com or Wordpress.org.  Post content & keyword rich articles on your blog.  Search engines love content.  It’s best to have ‘original’ content rather than an article that’s been posted to hundreds if not thousands of other sites.  It also brings back news readers who regularly read your blog.

  3. Use eBay as a traffic machine
Go to Alexa.com > Traffic rankings and search for ‘ebay.com’ and take a look at where ebay.com is ranked.  As I write this report it’s ranked 9th in the world!

Here’s an example of how to generate traffic using eBay...

    • Grab a hot resell rights ebook you have in your collection.
    • Create a small txt file using notepad and add some information about your business and of course yourself.
    • Save it as “Bonus.txt” and include this small txt file with the resell rights ebook.

Now, what happens?  You’ve got yourself a little viral machine going around to a highly targeted crowd.  Remember, it’s a resell rights product so you can resell it to John Smith.  John has the rights to resell it to other people as well.  If he gave it out for free to his 10,000 list then how powerful would that be?  It create a massive viral effect, as long as the small “bonus.txt” file is included.

You could use alternative file formats such as .HTML or even better .PDF which appears to have more value.  I have a video tutorial product called MyViralGenerator that’s purely dedicated to just this one idea i.e. – using eBay to drive traffic to your site.

  4. Write & Submit Articles
You can either write one yourself or outsource it from elance.com or rentacoder.com if you hate writing!.  Typically, one content-rich article consists of 400-700 words.

Post your article(s) to article directories such as EzineArticles.com and ArticleCity.com
How does it bring in traffic?
Most articles include a ‘resource’ box at the bottom of the article where you can write a small paragraph about the publisher.  This is your where you tell them to go.  If your article was informative to the reader they will most likely click on the link in your resource box.  You need to make them go somewhere after they’ve read so that’s how it works.  But that’s not all.  Most articles are free to pass along as long as the resource box remains intact.  Can you see where it’s going now?

I did a test last year to see if it really works.  About a month later I searched my name and I was shocked to see how many sites added my article to there site!

Here's a sample of a resource box you can copy:

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

  5. Post comments on other people's blogs
What better way than to post feedback on blogs that are related to your niche?  Not just any blog, but a blog that dedicated to "Dog shampoos" or "Building your list".

First  find blogs that generate a lot of traffic.

Second, make sure it includes content-rich posts.  What does this do?  Search engine love content so this will bring the person searching for your niche to that blog and thus seeing your comment.

It only takes a few seconds to do.

  6. Joint Ventures
I saved this for last and I love it.  Why?  It’s helped one of my sites rank 507 in the world in less than 24 hours and the site is now at a consistent 10,700.  If your site is under 100,000 that’s typically good.

Exchange links or ads with your JV’s.  You place your link on their site, ezine or newsletter, and they place their ad on yours.  It’s not hard to find JV’s.  All you need to do is have a plan that’ll work both ways (a win/win), and never be afraid to ask.  If you get rejected then so what.  What if that person said yes?  That would mean an extra 1,000, 10,000 or even 100,000 hits to your site.  It’s all in the numbers game.

Applying just one of these methods to your business will increase traffic.  Applying just an extra method is like a butterfly effect.  The small things you do that make a dramatic difference overtime.

When you apply all of the 7 techniques, you will get an Unstoppable flow of traffic consistently coming in -- which in turn brings you sales, subscribers, leads, better page rank or whatever you wanted...

Internet Marketing: Top 14 Tips To Promote Your Website
 by: Michael Richer

To make money on the internet you need an effective marketing plan.

So here is the best marketing tips that you must follow to make your website a powerful magnet for traffic and sales.

1) Banner Advertising

Although many marketers already know about the pay-per-click search engines, very few are purchasing guaranteed banner click-thru's that are available on hundred's of sites.

Look for sites that cater to your target market and look for, or ask for, their advertising rates. Slowly but surely most of the sites that sold banner impressions are starting to offer performance advertising in the form of pay-per-click.

2) Write articles

Writing Articles is an excellent way to promote your website and best of all you can get recognize as an internet business expert.

This is very easy to do, for people that don't know how to write real good yet look at other articles to get good ideals (Don't steal them). After you write a article insert a link to your site and there you go.

If you don't know what to write. Just write what you know best. You must have some knowledge or experience in one domain. Don't you ?

You can submit your article to ezine or article directory like : http://www.articlecity.com.

3) Exchange links

Exchanging links is one of the best method for getting web site traffic and ranking higher with search engine When you start a site you should exchange many as possable links with sites that are RELATED to YOUR site. Search Engine's robots are eager to find new links and fresh information.

4) Mailing List

Having a mailing list can bring wonders to a web site, not only will it help bring old visitors back , but they will send the newsletter to their friends (If they like it). This is like gold for you. The only real purpose for a consumer website is to capture leads and to sell products. By leads I mean e-mail addresses.

You want to build up a customer list and then you want to work it repeatedly. Send out a monthly e-zine that offers FREE valuable information and mentions similar products they may be interested in. They may see something that a friend of theirs will want to buy from you.

5. Search Engine Optimization

It is no secret that search engines are the number one traffic generating method for driving visitors to web sites. Search engines are very useful in helping people find the relevant information they seek on the Internet. The major search engines develop and maintain their own gigantic database of web sites that can be searched by a user typing in a keyword or keyword phrase in the search box.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of studying the search engines in an effort to determine how to get your web site to rank high on user searches. Depending on the statistical information reviewed, search engines account for over 80% of the visitor traffic to web sites.

6. Pay-Per-Click

It is good to get traffic but it is even better to get sales. Pay-per-click advertising is a great way to pull targeted traffic. Could anything be better? In many cases, pay-per-SALE advertising is a better choice. With pay-per-clicks, you may or may not make sales.

With a pay-per-click program, there's very little or even NO risk. You only pay when you make sales. Affiliate programs and joint ventures are examples. Set up deals where you pay only for each sale.

7. Free online forum.

The forum can be on any topic that they are most interested in. One forum can be about “Online Business”. Another forum can be about “ Joint Ventures”. When people join those forums, make sure that they need to come to your site first and log in from there, if they want to log on and post on the forum.

8. Give Something For FREE

FREE Ebooks or Software is a good way to bring on visitor and to keep them at your site Visitors like to receive free offers. Entice your visitors with freebies and have them coming back for more.

9. Postcard

Simple low-cost postcards have become a valuable internet business tool for modern marketers. They can produce a wave of traffic to your web site or a flood of high-quality sales leads.

10. Market Statistic

You can use features on your website such as visitor polls, online surveys and your website statistics to find out what your customers like more and how they feel about certain aspects of your business to determine how you can improve your product and the way you do business.

11. FREE Advertising

There is alot of FREE Advertising on the Internet. There is Classified Ads. FREE For All Pages (FFA), Ezine, Article Submission and Newsgroup of course and many more.

12 . Blogging

Blogs are a relatively new and popular way to publish content on the Internet. They allow the blogger to publish content veryquickly AND get feedback from the people that read it. Because they are new and content is created regularly, search engines love indexing them - and if search engines love them, you should too.

13. Real Syndicated Content

RSS marketing is a tool used by many on the Internet to deliver articles, advertisements, emails, customer support responses, ezines to clients and potential clients. It is also a good way to rank higher on search engines and traffic from different websites with RSS.

14. Press Releases

A press release is a public relations announcement issued to the news media and other targeted publications for the purpose of letting the public know of company developments.

You should write on news about your business. Don't make your release a sales letter. It will get banned.

Search engine adores press releases. They are food for them. A good press releases can bring thousand of free visitors to your website.

How to Generate Mass Traffic to an Online Event in Record Time
 by: Dina Giolitto

If you want to kick off a new online holiday or event, you'll need to do it with a Big Bang. Make your entrance, and then keep the momentum going by cattle-driving traffic and human interest to the source. Yes, cattle-driving! You need to climb on that imaginary horse and start corralling people in. Everyone on the web is highly distracted, even your best buddies. Help them notice you, remember you, and get your name out into mass circulation. Make it fun, and don't forget to have fun yourself. People are attracted to others who seem to be having fun. :)

In online event planning, your two best friends are your social network of humans and the search engines. You can't possibly pull this thing off unless both are wound into the plan - and it should be pretty clear why. If you stick with search engine tricks alone, you'll find that your website begins to pull some rank on Google because you've driven those search words via the major marketing generation methods... but there's an absence of life at the point of contact. That's no good.

If you concentrate solely on your human network but fail to tap the engine power, you'll get a small group of excited parties all sitting in a closed circle and blinking at each other. I guess small and intimate isn't terrible, but we're talking about an online event here and that phrase connotes BIG. So, use search engine optimization AND word of mouth to spread it far and wide.

Let's talk about the ways you can viral-market your internet promotion and blast it out there in a short period of time.

1. Article marketing.

Article marketing is at the heart of every great marketing effort. Don't get me wrong - blogging is instant entertainment, but if you want credibility, then write potent, info-rich articles or have someone write them for you. Your articles are going to get picked up and added to other people's websites, so you'll want to mention the event name and the URL to the event website in each one that you write for your promotional effort. Submit your article to as many article directories as possible but beware the No Advertising Rule! If these guys catch you being too promotional your article will get the shaft and there goes your big article marketing Event Master Blaster Plan. Email me if you need a jumping point for your article marketing campaign: Dina/AT/Wordfeeder.com.

2. Networking.

Don't even attempt online event planning unless you already have a solid online network of marketing colleagues in place. Your friends are the ones who already love you, admire you, will listen to what you say and join in for the group project. Very few "random finds" on the web will just catch wind of your Pied Piper event promotion tune and start following along (but when they do, it's really cool). You'll want your network topic to be themed around your event. So, if yours is a Kids' Artwork Show with a portion of the proceeds going to a children's hospital, then your network should ideally be for work-at-home moms and parents. DON'T promote your event on a network of unrelated subjectmatter. That's a great way to drive people away completely!

3. Landing page and email drip campaign.

Your landing page should be accessible from your articles and other "outreaching" content vehicles. When your reader clicks the link, he should be "hard sold" on why this is going to be fantastic, what's in it for him, and compelled to drop his name in the box. Your email subscriber base should continue to grow throughout the event's developments. Use it as a megaphone to 'rally the team', send updates, and guide others to help spread the word and click the links to your blog, articles, ebooks and other web traffic helpers. Frequently tell the team what they'll get out of this. Offer them gifts. Without an incentive, nobody will want to be your groupie and I for one wouldn't blame them in the least.

4. Blogging.

Blogs get indexed quickly! If you want your mass event to power up the Google ladder, then choose a blog hosting company that will "help you along." TypePad has been working well for me. Fill your blog with categorized keywords and turn your "major search term" (the name of your holiday) into something that will ring a bell and prompt folks to start typing into the Google box out of sheer curiosity. Your blog should contain plenty of links that "point" to your hot pages; for example, any fun contests or activity pages you plan to run, your articles. Include your landing page at the end of every post. This will lend clarification for the confused who just landed from outer space and also "grab" them for the email list. Your blog should be highly interactive. Initiate discussions; blast out participants and supporters by linking to their websites. Make your blog sticky, and offer plenty of reciprocal links as incentive to keep watching your show.

5. Web PR.

Web PR is needed so those RSS feeds can sound off your news to the mass communication circuit online. Just like article marketing and blogs, you'll want to include the name of your event frequently (about three times per press release) so that the search term will get carried along on those content feeds and bring you higher up on Google. Think of that web surfer, glazing over your press release and reading a term like "Web Content Awareness Day" multiple times. It sinks in somehow. Later, when he stumbles across you again, suddenly he's compelled to hunt for more info and he types those words into the search box. That's how the momentum keeps building and it's a great reason to submit to free PR sites. If you email me, I can help you out: Dina/AT/Wordfeeder.com

6. E-Books.

E-books are super-vitamins for your website's page rank. When people open up your info-laden PDF file, that counts as a page view. Page views give you a push in the search engine hierarchy. So DO give away free information. Link to your free downloadable e-book from your blog, from your group emails, from your network posts and from your "main holiday website" after you launch it. Encourage friends to pass your e-book along to keep the page views coming. Links in your e-book should point back to... guess where? Your blog and your landing page. Are you getting a feel for how all this content is connected?

7. Your Big Yap.

Huh? I'm talking about word of mouth. Don't forget to USE YOUR VOICE in all of your event promotion materials. So many people forget to "speak to their audience" in their marketing, and every time I see it I want to slap myself silly. Don't just plunk a link or a photo down and think people will click it. There's so much going on out there, you need to be heard. I'm not just saying that because I'm a copywriter and I love words. Clear, simple, compelling communication is crucial. Don't be afraid to tell your reader what to do. And ALWAYS tell him what he gets out of it, always! If you have any questions about this EMAIL ME: Dina/at/Wordfeeder.com.

As you can see, it takes some knowledge of cohesive internet marketing to be able to manipulate the search engines while getting folks excited about your big jamboree.

How To Get Traffic To Your Site
 by: Bradley Carson

There are several ways to get traffic to your site. You can pay for your traffic or get it for free. I'd like to concentrate on free traffic.

The first thing you need to do is make sure your site is key-word optimized for the search engines. For a new site, using low competition words can help you to get placed high on some search engines and give you much needed targeted traffic. If you have a site with several categories, doing at least one optimization a day will slowly but surely build your business. With more than one category this gives you an opportunity to be placed on the search engine with each category and not just your front page.

Another way to help build targeted traffic and links to your site is a blog. You can have the blog linked to your site. If you update your site regularly and 'ping' your blog with one of the free pinging services, you will gradually build your traffic and business.

There are many sites that have free content that you can use on your blog. Once you've set up the blog and find the right ping service, this would only take you a few moments a day. When using free articles, be sure and use proper etiquette, giving the author credit for his writing.

The tried and true way to build 'free' traffic and links, is articles. You can write about anything you want or about the services or products your website distributes. If you're not able to write the articles yourself, there are a number of services available that can do it for you (you pay). Then post your article to as many directories as possible. Webmasters are constantly on the look out for good, new content.

The number of links to your site is critical in your placement with most search engines. Articles and a blog help build your site targeted traffic slowly. But to speed up your linking process, you could search and join some link exchange sites. The more links the better.

3 Secrets To Increasing Traffic In The New Year
 by: Scott Patterson

Now that 2006 has arrived, it is the habit of many people to make a resolution for the New Year. While many people focus on self-improvement, some opt to make resolutions about their business. Usually this involves a resolution to increase their revenue for their online business.

But did you know that it is actually quite easy to increase your online revenue?

The trick is to drive more traffic to your Internet business(es). As you know by now, more traffic generally means more money.

No matter what type of site you have, your success hinges on getting as much traffic as possible. But like many online business owners, you have probably exhausted many sources for increasing traffic.

Recently I have found three incredible ways to drive more traffic to your site. The good news is that all these methods are not being done by many webmasters.

So if you want to increase traffic for 2006, be sure to use each of the following three traffic-building mechanisms:

1- Data Feeds

Do you like the idea of creating hundreds, even thousand of pages of legitimate content?

With a data feed, this is possible.

Many online businesses utilize data feeds as a way to help their affiliates. If you are not familiar with this concept, a data feed is file that contains a list of products, descriptions and prices for individual items that are sold by a company.

With a data feed, you can create a specific content page for each product. So if an affiliate program has thousands of products, then you can create thousands of pages of quality content. As you probably know, the more content usually leads to more traffic.

Data feeds are great for getting natural search engine traffic because they list specific products that people are looking

for. If you can find a data feed that is related to your specific website, then you can easily generate more natural traffic for your online business.

2- Viral eBooks

Another tool that can dramatically increase your website traffic is a viral ebook or report. Most of the time, a viral ebook is a PDF that people send to their contacts, which contains your marketing message. It is called viral because every person that receives the ebook is given a reason to pass along your material.

Before starting a viral marketing campaign, it is important to create a reason why people will want to pass along your marketing message. Some of the best reasons can include simple greed or a desire to provide entertaining information to their friends. If you can develop a hook that will take advantage of either of these, then it will be easy to create a successful viral marketing campaign.

What I usually do is create a special 5 to 10 page report on a specific topic. Then I find an affiliate program that is related to the topic. Then I create a mechanism where people can easily brand this ebook with their own affiliate link.

This type of viral ebook is valuable because you can place a mini advertisement or sponsorship on every copy. In addition,

you can let the reader know that he or she can make money by offering this viral ebook. As a result, there is a chance that every person that reads the book will click over to your site.

3-Blogs

By now, you have probably heard about the power of blogs. If you haven’t created one, then you should use the New Year to take advantage of this traffic pulling tool

With blogs, you are providing your audience with fresh new content about your topic. People love to read them, because most

blogs contain new information in an entertaining and easy-to-read format.

The best part about blogs is how much they are valued by search engines. The majority of search engines consider any information on a blog to be important current news, so they pay special attention to articles listed there. As a result, you can use blogs to drive a larger portion of traffic to your Internet business.

For 2006 you should make a resolution to get more traffic to your site. By implementing these three tools into your marketing mix, you will discover that your web traffic (and income) will dramatically increase.
