If it seems that everybody is making boatloads of money online and you're missing out, fear not.
There's plenty of time left for you, and the greatest part about it that it's not very difficult.
Strategic Tip #1: Plan to work hard.
I know, this goes against everything you hear but deep down you know that nothing worthwhile is easy right?
You also know that getting anything done quickly just takes more work.
Even cleaning out the garage, yeah you could take your time and get it done over a weeks time, or else you could work your butt off and have it finished and be sitting right back down on the couch watching your favorite reruns.
To get things done quicker you just have to put in the extra hard work, but when the checks start rolling in, all your work will be worthwhile.
By the way, if you do things right, one of the beautiful things about the internet is that the work you do today will pay off for months and hopefully years after.
Just like that clean garage you’ll have.
Strategic tip #2: Find one good teacher.
Let me just emphasize “one”. Bouncing around from teacher to teacher, product to product is THE biggest mistake that new hopeful internet marketers make.
However, find a mentor/teacher that’s reputable. You can go to the different marketing forums and ask around, and you’ll get some honest answers. Just beware of anyone trying to sell themselves. The great teachers don’t have to do this in forums.
Once you find them, stick to their strategies and you’ll be way better off than most people who are still playing the bouncy game.
Some marketers I recommend you follow are:
Jimmy D. Brown Jim Edwards John Vallaries Yanik Silver John Reese
But just pick one, and stick with them.
Strategic Tip #3: Research and target a hungry niche that’s got as little competition as possible.
I’m not going to say a whole lot about this. It’s very basic but not quite easy. Everything will have some competition, which is good. This means there’s money to be made.
But best thing I can tell you is to find a hungry crowd, and feed it. A great place to start your research is Ebay. Also, magazine stands, http://Amazon.com, Froogle. You get the picture.
Also Google the phrase: “Finding a Niche Market”. You’ll be reading for days.
Some examples would be:
· Pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish, etc.) · Finance (credit card debt, mortgage guide) · Computers (buyers guides, games, software) · And a lot of success is found in the Health Niche (weight loss, cellulite, diabetes, quit smoking, etc.)
Strategic Tip #4: Pick the low hanging fruit.
What does that mean. That means go for the easiest stuff first.
Here’s what happens. You find a teacher who claims to be a guru. Not knowing since you’re just starting out that they don’t have much more of a clue than you do, they tell you to pick your favorite hobby, write an ebook on it, create a website with a “killer sales page”, and you’ll make a million bucks before you can say B.S.
Now tell me this, how long is it going to take you to write an ebook. Most people don’t know how to write to save themselves, or some do, but are so intimidated by the thought that they never even start, and that ends their online career before it’s ever gotten started.
Or lets say that you did manage to choke out an ebook. Now you have to design the website, and then and here’s the hard part…. you have to write that “killer sales page”. Neither of which is anything close to easy if you’ve never done it.
Yes, you can slap together a website fairly quickly these days, that’s true, but the sales page is where the trouble begins. It takes years to develop that skill just to get to be mediocre.
So where is the low hanging fruit then?
Well, there are a couple choices. The first and probably best choice is affiliate programs.
Listen; nearly every good niche you can think of has an ebook written on the subject somewhere, the best place in which to look is Clickbank. There are thousands of products there, which usually offer a nice commission, sometimes up to 75%, that are just looking for someone to sell for them.
Now here’s the kicker. These products all already have a nice sales page written and all that you have to do is drive traffic to the sales page, they close the sale, and BAM! You get paid. Very simple. Not as easy as it seems, but very simple.
That’s your low hanging fruit.
Strategic Tip # 4 1/2. Resale Rights =Low Hanging Fruit with 100% Commission.
I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t mention Resale Rights.
What are Resale Rights Products. This is where you simply buy the rights to sale a product that’s already created, and usually includes a sales page (I wouldn’t recommend buying one that doesn’t if you’re just beginning) You then keep all the profits.
These days Resale Rights membership sites are popping up all over the place. This is where you pay a small monthly fee, and get new products created for you every single month.
The great thing about this is that most of the time they do the research and create the products about topics that are in high demand.
Sometimes you can even do as you please with the finished product, chopping it up or adding to it to make it more your own style, and to ensure there is nothing duplicated out there.
These are called Private Label Resale Rights.
You can use this material for blogging, creating a newsletter, content website, or any number of things.
The downfall is finding quality products but they are definitely out there, it just takes time and effort to search them out.
So, there you have it in a nutshell. Following these tips should put you closer to making money online a little more quickly.

The One and Only Way to Successful Net Marketing by: David Asen
Just the other day I was very pleasantly surprised when an old friend of mine from whom I haven’t heard since over a year called me. After the usual “how’s the weather over there?” talking I quickly found myself engaged in an excited discussion about web design. After half an hour of conversation where we were talking about a lot of technical stuff I remembered how we started this conversation and BANG, it hit me. Why?
My friend actually started this conversation by asking me about my work as an ecommerce and web marketing consultant! So how did we end up talking about web design and programming? Well, when I answered him he only picked out what he found important and what he could understand. And unfortunately the only thing he finds important is web design and programming!
Like myself my friend is a trained web designer and network administrator and we both worked already for a bunch of people and companies creating websites and like me he recently started his own web design company. The only difference between us is that he still belongs to the 90 percent of people who have no success on the web while I belong to the 10 percent who are earning big money. So how does it come that some people are so incredible successful, while others are not even earning enough to pay their web host?
It’s all about the mindset.
Ask 90 percent of all so called web professionals what you have to do to build a successful web business and they will tell you all the same: It’s all about Web programming, web design and web programming again. Their eyes start sparkling when all this funny words start flushing out of their mouths and they tell you for hours all about the things you can do with java and javascript, php, flash animations, perl, cgi and whatsoever.
To be true. I can understand their enthusiasm about all this fancy technical stuff because I really love it myself, but hey, I did not ask about technical possibilities. No one answered my question yet. They just got excited by all that technical stuff. What I asked was:
How can I build a successful web business?
And the shocking truth is: The answer is so simple that 90 percent of all the people don’t get it. It’s just one simple sentence:
Do not tell your customers what they need. Ask them.
That’s a simple formula. It’s easy and logical and everyone can try it. You will be amazed about the results.
Of course, in order to practically apply this formula it would need much deeper exploration, but that’s not necessary at the moment. Before we go into details we have to understand the basics and the basic point here is that this mindset and ONLY this mindset is the key to a successful net marketing business.
If you don’t develop this mindset of putting your customers first you can be a complete laymen or the most sophisticated search engine optimisation expert, but you will NEVER succeed. If you want a successful marketing business you need happy customers and the only way to make them happy is by first understanding and then fulfilling their needs.
Like my friend, most of nowadays “web experts” focus on technical issues, programming and web design because THEY like it. But they don’t understand what their customers are looking for. Their customers aren’t looking for java, flash animations, changing images etc. They are looking for high quality information! I repeat: For…
…first class high quality information.
Therefore: Like in every other part of economy find out what people need. Do a great market research discover a suitable niche for yourself and focus on delivering high quality information to your interested visitors. And once they see that you understand their needs, they will build confidence in you and will be happy to buy your products, cause they know that your products are as great as the information you provide.
We all have the same possibilities. You have the same possibilities as I have and I have the same possibilities as my friend, but although the internet contains the same success potential for everyone not everyone uses it.
It’s your choice. You can choose, if you want to use it and be part of the 10 percent successful people or if you want to ignore it and stay in the gulch of failure.
You decide.

The Dirty Secret Most Internet Marketers Don't Want You To Know
Seems everyday there's a new info-product or software launch in the Internet Marketing world. The high-pitch hard-sell salesletters practically screaming at you not to miss out on the latest and greatest program or marketing secret.
This can be hell - I know - I used to max out my credit cards on a regular basis, making purchase after purchase because I didn't want to get left behind.
Of course, when it came time to pay my bills, I had to face the painful facts. Not only had I spent more money than I had made, but I had also wasted so much time buying and downloading, I never really got around to reading and applying the information I had blown my credit on.
Well, I wasn't raised to be in debt, so I smartened up real fast and stopped cold turkey making these sorts of impulse purchases. I gave the credit card to the wife and just asked her to make sure the internet service was paid for every month.
Meanwhile though, the offers from the top marketers kept pouring into my inbox, all kinds of great new programs just waiting to let their secrets be known, if only I'd "Buy Now".
I wasn't going to take it lying down though - so I started to do some researching, some real deep digging in fact. And it wasn't long before I struck gold.
You see, I discovered the REAL secret most internet marketers don't want you to know. And I'm going to tell it to you right now:
"Almost every software program being marketed for ridiculous prices has a FREE equivalent available. In fact, often the programs being marketed are based directly on readily available 'free-to-download- and-use' open source programs that work just as well - and sometimes better than the version being sold. You just have to know where to look."
Read that one more time.
I'm not talking about simple programs either. Let's just say if you think the only way you're going to get your hands on the latest automatic website generating software, or the newest program to set up and manage a large network of blogs fast is by shelling-out $100, $200, or more - you're 'shopping' in the wrong place. You can find absolutely free versions of these programs online if you are prepared to research a bit. And that's just for starters...
I am a total tightwad now. In fact I almost never make internet marketing purchases anymore. Yet I am still able to satisfy my lust for the latest internet marketing secret techniques and the software created to exploit them. Best part is, now that I've stopped burning out my credit card, I can actually show a profit at the end of the month for my efforts.
Want to see an even more eye-opening list of free equivalents that are available for internet marketers? You should visit the "Tightwad Marketer's" site. You may never look at an internet marketing sales page the same way again:
You're not making the most out of your list I tell ya!
A lot of new marketers think of their list as people who they can
simply send offers to and now they're wondering why their list is shrinking.
Their list becomes unresponsive aftertime.
Their emails gets accused of spam.
And in the end, they make no money.
You've got to think of your subscribers as business partners. They are people who will grow your business long-term.
As a list owner, you've got to be active.
The more active your are, the more hyper-active our subscribers
will be.
Active = activITY.
There are certain activities you need to do if you want to milk your list for everything it's worth.
Survey your list for your product idea. What better way than to ask your own subscribers if an idea for your next project would be a money-maker.
Write a weekly, semi-monthly or monthly newsletter/ezine to share your tips, recommend products, offer freebies and more. It's YOUR chance to show them how much you can deliver.
And let's not forget the fundamental elements you need to implement in everything you do with your list.
Build trust
Build relationships
Involve your subscribers with your projects
Show that you're committed to helping your subscribers
Recommend products - Yes, these are also known as "offers", but I like to use the terms "recommended products" because before you even offer a product/service to them, you've got to review it yourself and see if it'll help them.
Offer valuable content - articles, blog posts, tips, reports etc.
These keys are critical when you've just received a fresh
subscriber to your list. That's where autoresponder sequences come in. Preload your autoresponder with emails that'll get them to know you.
Once you've established those elements, there's no reason why your subscribers won't stick around to receive any of your future emails.
But having just a "list" isn't enough. You've got to have lists. Yes that's right. Lists with plural "S". We call these "sub-lists".
On one side you've got your main list, on the other you got branches that are for different purposes.
The best lists you can build as an online marketer are:
Announcement list - Check out TheHappyDeal.com. What kind of list do you think I use there? You think it's my main list? Of course not. It's a sub-list where I announce, each week to my list, a new deal.
Your announcement list doesn't have to be for your paid products. It can be a list for people wanting to receive your next viral report. All you need to do is send out an email to that list and you've got people ready to buy, distribute or do whatever.
Newsletter - As I mentioned earlier, a newsletter is a great place to build relationships and trust. It's a place where you can share your insider tips, recommend products, give out freebies and more. Make it "jam-packed" and there's no reason why your subscribers won't return for more.
Affiliate/JV list - Your next products just released. Now who do you contact? Why hesitate when you've got your own JV/affiliate list? They're ready to rock 'n' roll and promote your site. Give them all the tools they need to make the sales.
Your list = Your asset.
The law of reciprocity is the same with your list as it is with the universe. Your list will help you grow & profit your business as long as you give them what they want. Treat your subscribers poorly, and you'll end poor.

So, you want a profitable on-line business. With just under 30,000,000 web sites on internet marketing newsletters alone, where on earth do you start? I wanted a mentor that does exactly what I plan to do with my business. What would that be? I wanted a mentor that does virtually what I have done off-line for years. I want a mentor who over-delivers.
As a savvy marketer, you already know that repeat customers are the mainstay of your business. A quality internet marketer also recognizes happy customers as his/her best source of viral marketing (described in this fantastic ebook I found). So what does this have to do with over-delivering. To quote Leon Leonwood Bean, founder of L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine “Make sure the story isn’t better than the store.” Keep ‘em Happy!
What exactly is over-delivering? First, you under-promise. Ensure that you tell your customer the truth and are conservative in your estimate of what they will be receiving and what its benefits are. Make your commitments with clarity, simplicity, and restraint. Don't burden the relationship with promises; instead grace it with extras that you can give effortlessly when the time is right. Next, work hard to deliver something better than what you have promised. Finally, deliver more than you have promised of a quality far superior to what your customer is expecting.
As taught in this wonderful e-book I just received, you have structured your customer base so that they can be contacted often. Now, let’s over-deliver. Because your customer has just received a top quality product and maybe one or two bonuses from you as downloads, why not send another unexpected bonus later... in an email. Just send a download link to a really valuable, related bonus in an email a few days later. You can do this several times over a period of weeks or months. In each email, thank your customer of his purchase and point out that this is an additional bonus as a token of gratitude for his business. This is a very simple method of building customer satisfaction and goodwill. By spreading the unexpected bonuses out, you give the customer time to "dig into" the bonuses. If you send all of the bonuses at once, the customer may just download them on his hard drive and never look at them, at all. Not a good way to get your information out there.
Another method that can be used with bonuses sent after the sale is to point out in each email that another bonus will arrive in a few days/weeks. Your new customer begins expecting your emails, and is much less likely to ask for a refund. They know that if the order is canceled there will be no other bonuses.
Create well in all your endeavors,
Susan Walker
